1. Documental and bibliographic consultation of the collection:

 

• Presential consultation - the documents or bibliography are always handled by the staff of the Pharmaceutical Documentation Center and after filling the request form;

• Online consultation - the documental collection is also available for online research at the following link http://www.cdf.pt/archeevo/.

2. Support the users in getting information and references, i.e., assisting them in the search and retrieval of documental and bibliographic information, namely in providing guidance and suggestions for an effective consultation of the archive, as well as providing the user the knowledge of existing resources and research techniques using new technologies. This support also consists of indicating the existence of other thematic collections related with the Pharmacy and Pharmacists History.

 

3. Printed or electronic reproductions of documents or bibliography of the collection of the Pharmaceutical Documentation Center requires the filing of a request form (obligatory) provided by the Documentation Centre or downloaded online (editable PDF) and sent to the e-mail (cdf@ordemfarmacêuticos.pt), and waiting for further permission from the Pharmaceutical Documentation Centre.

 

4. Repository of documental/bibliographic heritage resulting from private collections donated by pharmacists and pharmaceutical companies, service provided by the campaign created by the Pharmaceutical Documentation Centre called "Let's Make History", that aims to collect, preserve and handle those collections temporarily conceded for digitalization or donated permanently to the Pharmaceutical Documentation Center. This service is based on a formal procedure which includes writing a delivery act, signed by both parties, with specific conditions for each situation, and a consignment note with the description of all the material conceded.
