The Portuguese Pharmacists Association
The Portuguese Pharmacists Association was established in Lisbon, in 1900, and its first president was Emílio Fragoso. As part of its activities, we can enhance the discussion of pharmaceutical practice and pharmacy teaching reform projects. In 1928, it had 104 members, 117 members, in 1930 and 73 members in 1933.
This association annually published the Bulletin of the Portuguese Pharmacists Association where they gathered the respective minutes of their general meetings. The Writing Commission was composed by Emílio Fragoso, Albino Freire de Andrade, Julio Maria de Sousa, Adelino Bairrão Ruivo, Pedro Fernandes da Cunha, Zozimo Rosa Limpo and Manuel Valente Serrano.
